The CLN will be represented at the information sessions for the Convention on Biological Diversity SBSTTA-24
A delegation of the Community Leaders Network (CLN) is attending the virtual informal sessions in preparation for the Convention on Biological Diversity SBSTTA-24 and will have their voices heard through a statement, soon to be released, on African’s rights to sustainably use their natural resources under the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing. SBSTTA is the UN Convention on Biological Diversity’s (CBD) subsidiary body on science. The information sessions (17-19, 24-26 Feb) are being held to exchange opinions on key agenda items towards a scientifically and technically sound post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
